The 2018 Ackerman Family Vineyards Port-style dessert wine is fortified with unaged brandy and is aged for 36 months in French oak barrels before bottling. This very limited wine is only made in certain vintages only making between 1-2 barrels. We purposely leave rows hanging with fruit to make this wine. It has a beautiful nose of cherry compote, warm spices of vanilla and clove, roasted coffee and licorice. This wine can be enjoyed by itseld or at tyhe end of a meal.
